Maxim Leonidov, who violated the regime of self-isolation, was detained in St. Petersburg

This was announced on his Facebook page by the head of the faction of the Yabloko party in the city Legislative Assembly, Boris Vishnevsky.

"He is not 65 years old, the park is not among those closed for visiting, the proposal not to go further than 100 meters in the decree of the city government No. 121 is only RECOMMENDED for him," wrote Vishnevsky.

Maxim Leonidov himself spoke about his detention to the Fontanka publishing house.

"We were walking with the dog in the Shuvalov park a police car pulled up us with his wife and dog, as well as with other passers-by, plunged into it and was taken to the police department...", - quotes the musician St. Petersburg edition.

In accordance with the administrative code of St. Petersburg, such a violation of the self-isolation regime entails a fine of an individual in the amount of four thousand rubles.

As the Ekho Moskvy radio station later reported , the police drew up a protocol for violating quarantine measures and sent them to Maxim Leonidov. As the musician himself admitted, he does not plead guilty of violating restrictive measures, since they do not apply to him. But he is not going to dispute the fine, since, according to him, it will take a lot of time and effort.

Recall that two days earlier, a collective lawsuit was filed by residents of St. Petersburg against the city hall due to restrictions imposed in the city. More than 20 Petersburgers appealed to the city court of St. Petersburg, demanding that a whole series of established quarantine measures in high alert because of the coronavirus be declared illegal.
