On September 24, the inter-district department in Birobidzhan (JAO) registered 11 marriages, and in total in the region - 18. Marriages began to be registered on the same day "according to agendas" from Thursday.

A record number of marriages was recorded in the Amur region - 682 in three days. This is more than the monthly figure for August.

“All registry offices of the Amur region work in an enhanced mode seven days a week and with the extension of the working hours of departments and offices of the registry office until the last visitor,” the registry office for the Amur region said in a statement.

In total, over the past three days, the registry offices of the region have compiled more than two thousand civil status records, and this is almost a monthly norm.
