In the regions of the Far Eastern Federal District, the number of marriages is growing due to the partial mobilization announced in the country. You can fix the union with signatures on the day of application.

This is reported by RIA Novosti, referring to the deputy head of the registry office Sergei Panov.

Thus, the number of marriages increased in the Jewish Autonomous Region and the Amur Region.

- If there are good reasons, the registry office at the place of registration of the marriage may allow the marriage to be concluded before the expiration of the month - on the day the application is submitted. Mobilization is one of the special circumstances. We are on a day off, a non-working day - Saturday, given that there are a lot of statements with agendas, we organized a working day, - Panov said. On September 24, the inter-district department in Birobidzhan (JAO) registered 11 marriages, and in total in the region - 18. Marriages began to be registered on the same day "according to agendas" from Thursday.

A record number of marriages was recorded in the Amur region - 682 in three days. This is more than the monthly figure for August.

“All registry offices of the Amur region work in an enhanced mode seven days a week and with the extension of the working hours of departments and offices of the registry office until the last visitor,” the registry office for the Amur region said in a statement.

In total, over the past three days, the registry offices of the region have compiled more than two thousand civil status records, and this is almost a monthly norm.
