As Vladimir Udalov, the head physician of the Tver hospital No. 6, told theins.ru, this can be considered "an illegal attempt to make enrichment without a license and abuse of patient confidence, as well as games on the feelings of fear due to the spread of a new coronavirus infection, which is unacceptable and illegal". Based on the results of the check, the hospital administration will conduct an official check, the materials of which will then be sent to law enforcement agencies.

Valentina Maksimova does not find anything reprehensible in her actions: "I have an informational and educational blog, I do it with good intentions. I want to teach our population how to behave in a pandemic. I give information on how to behave, how to strengthen the immunity, how not to miss the severe course of the disease. For nine months of work in the infectious diseases hospital, I have accumulated experience in the treatment and prevention of coronavirus".

According to the doctor, payment for such information is also important, because when people receive advice for free, they do not realize its value. “I worked on the checklist for a long time, chose the most basic points, it is designed for mild forms of the disease for outpatient treatment. And of course, any work must be paid for!”, - says Valentina Maksimova. “I'm surprised - people go to private clinics, only for the reception they silently pay 900-1000 rubles, stand in line there... They are not indignant there. Here I do not force anyone, an online person can get advice. Do you think that a person answering questions from patients outside of working hours should do this all evening to do for free?"

The doctor also does not believe that a special license is required to provide such online services: "I have a diploma. I do consultations outside of working hours. I have the right to do this, I have the right not to inform my management. After 15:00 I am free and I can do anything... I also save the lives of people in the "red zone" for seven hours every day. I have enough money. This is not earnings. At home in my free time I write information to hundreds of people through a blog about the rules of behavior, protection and prevention of coronavirus infections. All other employees have come home and are relaxing with their families. I do not think that this is bad of me".

In the Tver region, located between the two largest Russian metropolitan areas, Moscow and St. Petersburg, 14,314 cases of coronavirus infection have been identified since the beginning of the pandemic, says coronavirus-control.ru. 9137 people recovered, 370 patients died. As of November 26, 201 new cases were detected over the past day, 321 people recovered, one died.
