Most of all people are afraid of coronavirus in the Far East, in the Volga region and Moscow. The least concern is shown by residents of St. Petersburg.

This follows from the results of a survey conducted by specialists of the Rosgosstrakh Life insurance company and Otkritie Bank, RBC writes. Respondents were asked to rate their own concerns about the situation with coronavirus on a scale of zero to ten. It turned out that in the whole country, 85.5% of the survey respondents were concerned about the pandemic and its consequences to one degree or another. 14.5% said they did not feel fear. At five points, a degree of concern was rated by 24.5%. 40.6% experience "average" fear (6-10 points).

Residents of the regions of the Far East turned out to be the most concerned about the current situation - 11.9% rated their fear there by 10 points. Almost the same result among respondents from the Volga Federal District - 11% .

So, the Trans-Baikal Territory ( 33.3% ) is the first in concern, followed by the Pskov Region ( 19.6% ), followed by the Orenburg Region ( 14.9% ) and the Pskov Region ( 14.8% ) with almost the same indicators. area. The Volgograd Region ( 13.3% ) closes the five most worried regions. They are followed by Buryatia ( 11.5% ), Moscow ( 10.8% ), Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug ( 10.7% ), Novosibirsk ( 9.8% ) and Tyumen ( 9.4% ) regions.

33.3% of respondents from St. Petersburg admitted that they were not afraid of either a pandemic or its consequences. In the North Caucasus, the rate of “fearless” respondents was 21% , while in Siberia it was 20.8% . However, the Far Eastern Primorye ( 23.5% ) and Khabarovsk Territory ( 20% ) were included in the list of the least concerned about the situation .

- Despite the fact that the level of concern about the pandemic in the whole country is fixed at an average level (five points), the majority of the population (70.4%) do not take any measures regarding personal finances to reduce the level of fear, experts say.

As for the crisis that is happening in the country against the backdrop of the coronavirus pandemic, the majority of citizens - 85% - are experiencing alarming moods. This follows from another survey conducted by VTsIOM (Russian Public Opinion Research Center). 70% of respondents believe that the main difficulties are still ahead, and only 4% are sure that the country has passed difficult times.
