Putin proposed to increase the amount of sick certificate for the parents of children under seven

The head of state indicated this in his list of instructions following the meeting of the Presidium of the State Council. On December 1, it is necessary to report on the options for executing this order, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin was appointed responsible.

To date, the amount of temporary disability benefits depends on the length of service of the employee. A citizen, whose insurance experience is eight or more years, receives 100% of the earnings, those with an experience of five to eight years, can count on 80% of the average earnings, and those with an experience of up to five years receive 60% of the average earnings.

In addition, the President instructed, by August 1 of next year, to submit proposals for additional targeted support for children, whose parents are evading alimony payments.

Recall that earlier the Russian government approved a draft decree on the allocation of additional funds from the reserve fund to the Ministry of Labor in 2020. The money will be provided to regional budgets in the form of subsidies provided for monthly payments for children from 3 to 7 years old inclusive.
