The record number of patients with coronavirus died in the last day in Moscow
Over the past 24 hours, 67 deaths of patients in whom coronavirus was detected were recorded in the capital. A total of 546 people died in Moscow, whose diagnosis of COVID-19 was positive.
Pandemic Operations Headquarters reports that all 67 deceased patients had pneumonia confirmed. This is the maximum number of deaths recorded in the capital during the day.
On April 27, 44 patients with coronavirus died in Moscow, 31 died on April 26, 38 patients died on April 25, 41 patients died on April 24, and the disease claimed 37 lives on April 23.
Recall that the capital mayor Sergei Sobyanin said that the problem with coronavirus in Moscow is only growing. Despite the fact that the city does not have a “dramatic situation of growth” in the number of cases, it will be “a few more weeks,” the mayor said, to cope with “the challenges that exist”.
On the eve of Sobyanin extended the regime of self-isolation in Moscow until May 11. He urged the townspeople to spend the May holidays at home.
