According to a study conducted by RIA Novosti, overall housing affordability has slightly increased. In order to buy a standard apartment with your own funds in the first quarter of this year, you need to save about 4.6 years, while a year earlier the term of five years was called.

Analysts have estimated that the most affordable housing today in the Magadan region. To become an owner of an apartment in this region, you need to save 1.6 years. In second place is the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug - Yugra, where the minimum number of years required for savings for the purchase of an apartment is 2.8 years. Nenets Autonomous Okrug was in third place - 2.9 years. This is followed by the Tyumen ( 3 years) and Murmansk ( 3.2 years) regions.

The most difficult situation for an average family is with the purchase of housing in the North Caucasus and the south. The residents of Sevastopol need to save the longest money for an apartment - 15.5 years. Chechnya, 14.4 years old, went near this indicator, and Karachay-Cherkessia, 14.3 years, was very close to it. The five outsiders in Dagestan are 13.8 years old, and Kabardino-Balkaria are 13.2 years old.

Experts note that the current crisis will negatively affect the situation with the acquisition of housing. Most Russian families have experienced a decline in wealth, and there is no need to wait for improvement.

Note that the previously compiled family welfare rating is similar to the above study. The Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug turned out to be its leader. But in the last positions - the same regions as at the end of the ranking on housing affordability: Chechnya and Kabardino-Balkaria.

Let us note that the real estate industry is also in crisis. For example, the primary market fell by almost half in May. Rosreestr registered 35.5 thousand contracts in shared construction during this period, and in May 2019 66.3 thousand contracts were concluded.
