Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin believes that the capital should have fewer janitors and other district communal services from among labor migrants.

The Moscow mayor said this in an interview with RIA Novosti.

In addition, the mayor noted that there are practically no migrants in large utilities.

"There are practically no migrants in large urban utilities, they have remained at the level of housing GBUs (state-financed entities - editor's note), where there is a lot of janitorial work, rough and low-paid. But even there, it seems to me, there is a reserve where to move", - said the mayor.

The mayor spoke about the need to reduce the number of migrants among builders employed in the renovation program on November 17. Instead of guest workers, Sobyanin urged to hire more Muscovites and Russians from other regions of the country, while increasing the salaries of builders.

It's worth that in the coming years, the authorities of the capital are going to abandon the use of migrant labor at construction sites. Today, according to the Moscow authorities, the number of migrant construction workers in the city is about 40 thousand people. Moreover, most of them no longer agree to work for the previous 50-60 thousand rubles a month.
