The procedures approved by the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation for the vaccination against COVID-19 have already been sent to the regions.

“The recommendations say that vaccination and revaccination can be carried out with any vaccine registered in Russia”, - Kommersant reports.

As the Ministry of Health clarified, if during the first stage of vaccination the patient experiences serious complications, then re-vaccination can be carried out with another drug. However, the department does not specify the nature of the side effects.

The previously released recommendations of Rospotrebnadzor say that after being vaccinated against coronavirus for three days, it is better to limit alcohol consumption and give up intense physical activity. In addition, doctors noted that after vaccination, one should not sunbathe in the sun, so as not to provoke allergic reactions.

Earlier in the United States, there was evidence of side effects from American vaccines, which provoked serious complications and even death of patients. In Russia, according to the Ministry of Health, no one died from the introduction of domestic vaccines.

According to the head of the Ministry of Health Mikhail Murashko, today only 23% of the population is vaccinated in Russia, while at least 60% of the population must be vaccinated to form herd immunity. Due to the slow pace of vaccination, it was decided to speed up its implementation by introducing compulsory vaccinations against coronavirus in a number of regions.

After reaching collective immunity (when 60% of the population will be vaccinated), vaccination will take place as planned once a year, the Ministry of Health clarifies.

Initially, the Russian authorities announced plans to vaccinate up to 60% of the population against coronavirus by September 1. But the introduction of compulsory vaccination caused a wave of indignation in the regions, especially in those industries whose representatives were offered to organize the vaccination campaign at their own expense. At the same time, in many regions there were complaints about the shortage of the vaccine.

On the morning of June 29, the media reported that the Federal Operations Headquarters had developed a new plan for vaccination against COVID-19. Realizing that the figure of 60% is unrealistic, the officials softened the requirements and decided to reduce the plan to 30-35%.
