Alexey Berezutsky (pictured) left the post of head coach of the Moscow football club CSKA. He was appointed to this position in June 2021. Together with him, his assistants leave the club: Vasily Berezutsky and Grigory Babayan.

This was reported by the press service of CSKA. Vladimir Fedotov has been appointed as the new coach of the club.

We made a joint decision with the club management that a new coach should prepare the team for the new season. There is no one reason for this decision - it is a whole complex of reasons. I want to wish the new coaching staff success for the benefit of PFC CSKA and I am sure that the new season will be successful for the red and blue”, - the CSKA press service quotes Berezutsky as saying .

PFC CSKA General Director Roman Babaev thanked the specialist and the coaching staff for the work done. Special thanks were expressed to Babayan for his professionalism.

Vladimir Fedotov has been appointed as the new head coach of the army.

“The club and the specialist signed a long-term contract. Already today, the team led by Vladimir Valentinovich will begin preparations for the new season at the base in Novogorsk. Together with Fedotov, Oleg Fomenko, Murat Iskakov and Radik Yamlikhanov will join the coaching staff. All specialists worked with the new coach of the red-blues in Sochi”, - the football club said in a statement.

PFC CSKA President Evgeny Lennorovich Giner commented on the appointment of Fedotov, describing the new coach as an experienced specialist who was able to build a game in a short time and achieve excellent results in Sochi and Orenburg.
