Ivica Olic left the post of CSKA head coach

In total, Olic played nine official matches as head coach of the capital's army team. His appointment took place at the end of March, after the resignation of Viktor Goncharenko. Earlier, in the period from 2003 to 2006, Olic played for CSKA.

Experts link the departure of the Croat with a disagreement with the leadership of the Moscow club. CSKA fans have already left a lot of negative comments on this topic, supporting Olic. Under the post about Olic's dismissal, in particular, they wrote that the management of the club “clowns” asked “what are you doing?”, Thanked the Croatian athlete and demanded “to return the club” to Yevgeny Giner, “until they completely ruined”.

As a reminder, Olic's work as head coach resulted in four wins, a draw and four defeats. The club scored 50 points in 30 rounds and ended up in sixth place in the RPL. For the first time in two decades, CSKA did not make it to the European competition for the next season.
