Spartak head coach Domenico Tedesco will not renew his contract with the Moscow football club. He said this after the match with St. Petersburg Zenit.

The contract between Tedesco and Spartak is valid until May 2021. According to him, the club's management was interested in extending cooperation.

- I told the owner ("Spartak") that I would not renew the contract in May. I want to be closer to my family, in Germany there is a bad situation with the coronavirus. This is the main reason why I made such a decision, the most difficult in my career, - quotes RIA Novosti the words of the coach.

Let's remind that in the match of the 19th round of the Russian Premier League "Spartak" was defeated by the Petersburgers, the game ended with the score 1: 3.

Let us also remind that a scandal broke out recently at the Fisht stadium in Sochi in the room near the stands, in which Tedesco was also involved. The video that appeared on the network shows how the players of the Moscow and Kuban clubs are different from the coach of “Spartak” Andreas Hinkel and the midfielder of “Sochi” Joazinho. The latter denied information that he hit Tedesco's assistant.

- I understand that this is your country and you play football by your own rules. It is not very pleasant to see it, but it is what it is. I do not like it, I continue to work, - quotes "MATCH.TV" Tedesco's words.

The match was lost by the Muscovites.
