FC Krasnodar players refuse to kneel before the match against Chelsea

29 October , 12:03Sport
Only two Krasnodar football players knelt in support of the Black Lives Matter movement ahead of the Champions League home match against Chelsea London.

The authors of the comments on Twitter doubted that the players of the club, in principle, should take part in this action, since "they did not trade blacks in Krasnodar". In general, the participants in the discussion supported the decision of the club.

Note that the British were alarmed by the behavior of Krasnodar, and immediately began to whistle from the stands.

Let us recall that against the backdrop of protests in the United States after the death of African American George Floyd through the fault of the police, many companies began to carefully monitor the style of their brands, leveling out any details that could be related to aggravating racial issues.

Supporters of the Black Lives Matter movement in Australia even raised the issue of changing the rules in chess, pointing to the infringement of the rights of black pieces, against which white starts the move first. Because of this, radical protesters called chess a racist game at all, to which the 13th world chess champion Garry Kasparov invited them to play the Japanese game of go, where black moves first.
