During the day, 277 people were evacuated from Mariupol to the village of Bezymyanny in the Donetsk People's Republic, where a temporary stay center for internally displaced persons was set up.

The evacuation took place from 8 am on April 30 to 8 am on May 1. Among the evacuees are 35 minors. In total, since March 5, 26,213 people have been taken to Bezymyanny.

The Russian Defense Ministry reports that on April 30, two groups of civilians, 46 people in total, left the residential buildings adjacent to Azovstal, they were provided with accommodation and food.

Recall that a week ago, the evacuation of civilians from Mariupol was thwarted by Ukrainian nationalists. The militants opened fire at the gathering place from the territory of the Azovstal plant.
