The pilots of a cargo Boeing 737 landed the plane on the water off the coast of Honolulu in Hawaii, the Federal Aviation Administration said. The emergency landing was due to an engine problem.

"The pilots wanted to return to Honolulu, but were forced to land the plane on the water", - commented in the management of CNBC.

As noted in the office, both pilots were rescued by the US Coast Guard. After the incident, the Civil Aviation Administration and the Transport Safety Commission initiated an investigation into the causes of the incident.

Let us remind you that on Friday some problems occurred on board the cargo Boeing of the Atran airline. The plane took off from Krasnoyarsk airport to the Chinese city of Guangzhou, but was forced to return to the airport of departure. According to preliminary information, there was a fuel leak.
