Photo of the day: a subway car hangs on the tail of a whale in Rotterdam

The incident happened around midnight from Sunday to Monday at the terminal station of one of the branches in the suburb of Rotterdam - Speikenisse, writes Dutch News. At the time of the incident, only the driver was on the train. As a result of the accident, he was not injured, and even managed to get out of the carriage on his own.

"The train is now suspended ten meters above the footpath thanks to the whale's tail, and will probably remain there for some time," the newspaper writes, noting that the company that services this section of the Rotterdam Metro is now deciding how to carefully remove carriage with sculpture.
