All Ukrainian refugees who arrived in Canada after February 24 this year, the country's authorities will pay 3 thousand Canadian dollars - $ 2.4 thousand, said Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Sean Fraser (pictured).

The money will be received by Ukrainians and their family members with a valid work or study permit, temporary residence permit or participating in the emergency immigration program (CUAET). An application for receiving money must be submitted through the government website. It is clarified that applicants must have a bank account in a Canadian bank, the money will go to it within five days.

The Canadian authorities promise to support the Ukrainians even after their arrival. So, they are going to employ them, teach them the language, send their children to school and open a bank account.

In March, it was reported that Canada had developed a support system for Ukrainian refugees, which, in particular, provides for an accelerated procedure for issuing visas for up to three years.
