The official specified that it was a HAWC hypersonic air-to-air missile launched from a B-52 bomber off the west coast. The projectile managed to overcome over 482 km at an altitude of more than 19.8 km. It is noted that at the lower limit of hypersonic range, such a flight takes less than five minutes.
