Protests organized by opposition supporters have resumed in Yerevan this morning, demanding the resignation of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. Protesters block traffic in the capital, and the police have already begun to detain activists.

According to Sputnik Armenia, the protesters blocked traffic along Vagharshyan Street in the administrative district of Arabkir for some time. Opposition supporters chanted the slogan "Armenia without Nikol". A traffic jam formed on the road, into which a concrete mixer fell. After the police demanded to clear the roadway, the activists unblocked the traffic.

“The road leading to the bridge in Davitashen was also blocked, as well as several roads in Nor-Nork”, - the source said.

The protesters are calling on citizens to join the movement. According to Para TV, on the outskirts of Yerevan, police detained and put into cars several protesters.

“At the moment, 13 people have been delivered to the police departments”, - a spokesman for the police press service said in an interview with RIA Novosti.

Protests in the capital of Armenia continue for several days. The opposition accused Pashinyan of intending to "surrender Karabakh", demanding his resignation.
