Russians were detained in the case of the terrorist attack in Vienna

"The investigation continues. As you know, there were 18 searches and 14 detainees. Their age is from 18 to 26 years old, different citizenship. Some have dual citizenship. We are talking about Bangladesh, [North] Macedonia, Turkey, the Russian Federation, Austrian citizenship", - TASS quoted the message of the Vienna police chief.

Let us recall that on November 3, 14 people from the inner circle of the militant who staged an attack in the Austrian capital were detained in Vienna. All of them were taken for interrogation. The detainees are being investigated on suspicion of participation in a terrorist organization.

Earlier it was reported that the terrorist organization Islamic State banned in Russia claimed responsibility for the terrorist attack that took place in Vienna on November 2.

As a result of the shooting in Vienna , five people were killed , including the attacker, and another 22 were wounded.
