Swedish pop group ABBA released a new music album Voyage on the night of November 5th. It is available on the quartet's YouTube channel and other video services.

As noted by the Dozhd TV channel *, Voyage became the group's first studio album since 1981. The last album of the group before that was the collection The Visitors.

"Thanks for waiting. Agneta, Bjorn, Benny, Annie-Fried”, - says the announcement for the new album on the group's website.

In total, the new album includes 10 songs. Two of them - I Still Have Faith In You and Donʼt Shut Me Down - are already familiar to the public. In addition to them, When You Danced With Me, Little Things, Just A Notion, I Can Be That Woman, Keep An Eye On Dan, Bumblebee, No Doubt About It and Ode To Freedom are available for listening.

The legendary ABBA group, which includes Agneta Feltskog, Bjorn Ulveus, Benny Andersson and Anni-Fried Lingstad, was founded in 1972. Initially, the quartet performed under the name Ring Ring, but later an abbreviation was born from the first letters of the names of the band members.

The group's second name stuck, but the quartet members had to negotiate with Abba, a well-known Swedish seafood processing company, to use this logo. As Agneta later recalled, “When we decided to call ourselves A-B-B-A, we had to get permission from this company. There they answered us: “We agree, just make sure that we are not ashamed of you”. I don't think they had to be ashamed of the group".

Since the beginning of their careers, the musicians have sold about 400 million records, and their singles have not left the first lines of the charts for many years. ABBA became the first group from continental Europe to reach # 1 on the charts of all the leading English-speaking countries (USA, UK, Canada, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand). On March 15, 2010, ABBA was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

The group toured the world with great success for 10 years, but disbanded in 1982. Over the years, the musicians have released eight studio albums. Many of the songs included in them have become world hits. In Stockholm, in honor of the famous group, an interactive museum was opened, which attracts visitors from all over the world.

In 2022, ABBA's new album will be presented to the public on stage at the specially built ABBA Arena in London. At the same time, up to 3,000 people will be able to attend the concerts, scheduled to be held from May 27 to December 2, 2022. It is noteworthy that not the artists themselves will participate in the tour, but their holograms. For the show, Star Wars director George Lucas digitally rejuvenated the aging artists' looks.

It became known about the group's unification and recording of new compositions in 2018.
