An unidentified helicopter attacked the village of Bounty in central Mali (a state in West Africa). As a result of the incident, which occurred on the night of January 4, about 100 people died. There are also victims, but their number has not been specified.

It was not possible to establish the ownership of the helicopter due to the dark time of the day, writes Anadolu, citing the district authorities. At the same time, the government of the country has not yet commented on the incident.

The region in which the attack took place is the zone of activity of the units of the Jamaat Nusrat al-Islam wal-Muslimin group, which has close ties with al-Qaeda (this terrorist organization is banned in Russia).
