Legendary British rock musician Eric Clapton has released a video for the new song "It's time to end this!" (This has gotta stop), dedicated to the struggle against the puppeteers of the new world order and the "new normalcy" they impose on society.
Сюжет
Pandemic

The video is shot in black and white and is replete with symbols, so to speak, of "fooling, coercion and destruction": some people have buried themselves in their smartphones - even on a date they no longer look into each other's eyes, but only at the screen; others have a TV instead of a head; still others are stamped on a conveyor belt at one "pattern", the fourth dutifully lined up in a queue "for disposal", straight into the oven, as evidenced by the smoke coming from the chimney of the building; Meanwhile, the puppeteer pulls the strings, and his "colleague" beckons the crowd with a free carrot on a stick, and only a handful of recalcitrants go to the rallies with posters.

A reasonable man hides in his apartment, isolating himself from the outside world and trying to preserve his personal cozy world in it.

In a dark room there is an image of a multi-colored heart, a pacifist icon and a smiley face, but it also becomes unsafe in the home walls: tiny vivid reminders of the usual normal life are shattered to smithereens every now and then.

In his emotional message, Clapton ridicules the massive desire to capture every moment of life, bordering on schizophrenia: a person falls into the abyss, but even when the abyss has already swallowed him, a hand with a phone sticks out of the darkness in order to still have time to take a selfie.

Also, the musician did not ignore environmental problems: floods, fires, dying animals flash in the video...

Here's what Clapton sings:

This has gotta stop Enough is enough

I can't take this BS any longer

It's gone far enough

If you wanna claim my soul

You'll have to come and break down this door

I knew that something was going on wrong

When you started laying down the law

I can't move my hands I break out in sweat

I wanna cry Can't take it anymore

This has gotta stop Enough is enough

I can't take this BS any longer

It's gone far enough

If you wanna claim my soul

You'll have to come and break down this door

I've been around

Long long time Seen it all

And I'm used to being free

I know who I am

Try to do what's right

So lock me up and throw away the key

This has gotta stop

Enough is enough

I can't take this BS any longer

It's gone far enough

If you wanna claim my soul

You'll have to come and break down this door

Thinkin' of my kids

What's left for them

And then what's coming down the road

The light in the tunnel

Could be the southbound train

Lord, please help them with their load

This has gotta stop

Enough is enough

I can't take this BS any longer

It's gone far enough

If you wanna claim my soul

You'll have to come and break down this door

This has gotta stop

Enough is enough

I can't take this BS any longer

It's gone far enough

If you wanna claim my soul

You'll have to come and break down this door

(This door) (This door) (This door)

(Break down this door) (This door)

(This door) (This door) (Break down this door)

Sephen: Thank you Mr. Clapton for staying on the side of truth and philanthropy. In the end, this inhuman system of manipulation and lies will collapse! And thanks for your lovely voice.

From The Bead Maker's Perspective: I'm so glad one of our legendary musicians is taking a hit! Thanks Eric!

Ed Raposo: Thanks for hanging on Eric. In order to do what you have done, you need to be a very courageous person.

T7B6 de: I am glad that at least one of the creators recognizes the signs of the times and resists mass psychosis. Here, in Germany, but also in France and Australia, the situation is especially dire.

Derek Herbst: Thank you Eric Clapton for listening to your inner voice. I, too, will never trade my soul for a syringe needle.
