More than ten people killed in a car bomb explosion in Afghanistan

This is reported by Reuters, referring to the governor of Badgich province Husamudim Shams.

Currently, none of the militant groups, including the Taliban, has claimed responsibility for the explosion.

It's worth reminding that the purpose of the meeting of representatives of the Taliban movement (prohibited on the territory of the Russian Federation) and UN officials is to discuss the Afghan peace process. A spokesman for the movement wrote that the deputy head of the Taliban political office, Sher Mohammad Abbas Stanikzai, the head of the negotiating delegation, "reaffirmed a strong commitment to the Afghan peace process" at the meeting.

The UN believes that in the first three months of this year, during the fighting between the government army and the Taliban, more than 1,800 civilians have died.

We also remind that in the middle of last month, 12 people were killed in an explosion in the Kabul mosque, and at least 15 were injured.
