Soros announced a competition among Ukrainian patriotic bloggers

The fund's website states that video bloggers will be able to receive a scholarship from 50 to 120 thousand hryvnia - that is, up to $ 3.4 thousand.

- In the past few years, Ukrainian-language video blogging has been actively developing and progressing. Raising important topics for society, which do not always fall into the field of attention of media corporations, video blogs have become a quality alternative to the latter, the fund said.

Between 2020 and 2021, the website says, ad revenues have plummeted due to the coronavirus pandemic. Vozrozhdenie intends to offer a helping hand to the creators of high-quality videos.

“We are announcing the first competition in Ukraine for scholarships for video bloggers to create content”, - the authors of the appeal said.

It also added that YouTube will be the priority platform, but it will also consider applications from bloggers who post on TikTok and Instagram.
