France urges EU not to use Russian and Chinese vaccines

As Bon said, speaking on the air of the France 2 TV channel, the list of vaccines with which people who come to France should be vaccinated should include only those drugs in the effectiveness of which there is confidence. Now in European countries there are only four such vaccines - these are Pfizer-BioNTech, AstraZeneca, Moderna and Janssen. “With regard to a number of other vaccines, in particular Russian and Chinese, France says to its partners: 'Be careful, say no to these vaccines”, - Bon said.

At the same time, the diplomat did not directly answer the question regarding the flights of Russian aircraft to France. He only explained that the country is constantly updating the lists of directions by categories from "green" to "red". Bon added that the closure of air traffic is an extremely difficult procedure, and at the same time, foreigners can still come to France through other countries. According to the Secretary of State at the Foreign Ministry, France "does not intend to cancel flights to its territory from other countries if the epidemiological situation there worsens".

On June 23, France put Russia on the red list of countries with a high risk of the spread of coronavirus. Now the Russians will have to go to mandatory quarantine after arriving in this country. In addition, France has suspended the issuance of visas to Russian citizens.
