The number of people injured in the riots in the Kyrgyz capital rose to 1002. 204 people were hospitalized. One of the protesters died.

On October 5, after the announcement of the results of the parliamentary elections, protests began in the republic, and then riots. Representatives and supporters of the parties that did not pass the vote demanded the cancellation of its results. At night, the protesters seized the government building, and on Tuesday it also became known about the seizure of several gold and coal deposits.

The CEC canceled the voting results . The resignation submitted by Prime Minister Kubatbek Boron, Chairman of the Parliament Datsanbek Dzhumabekov, was also appointed "people's mayor" in Bishkek, and the mayor Aziz Surakmatov left post.
