Melania Trump (nee Knavs) was born in 1970 in the then Yugoslav Slovenia. She speaks six languages - in addition to her native Slovenian and the more common in the Balkans Serbo-Croatian with English, she also speaks Italian, German and French. She worked as a model, in 2005 she became the next, already the third wife of the then entrepreneur Donald Trump.
Melania Trump cried when her husband won the presidential election in 2016, according to her former aides and assistants, but these were not tears of joy. She waited five months before moving from New York to Washington and living in the White House. One of her friends then said: "Melania never expected him to win".
Melania's move from New York to Washington was postponed under the pretext that the common son of the first couple of the United States, Barron William Trump, "needed to finish school." Former aide Stephanie Volkoff said Melania was negotiating a postnuptial agreement to give Barron an equal share of Trump's fortune, even though he is his fifth child given previous marriages.
Stephanie Volkoff also said that the Trumps had separate bedrooms in the White House. Former aide to US President Omaros Manigo Newman said the couple's 15-year marriage is over, and now "Melania is counting every minute until he leaves the office and she can divorce, as if Melania tried to endure the extreme humiliation and leave while if he was in the highest office, he would have found a way to punish her".
Despite the frankly cold moments in public, 50-year-old Mrs. Trump claims that she has a "great relationship" with her 74-year-old husband, he insists that they never fought at all.
It is worth noting that Donald Trump's marriage agreement with his second wife Marla Maples does not allow her to publish any books or give interviews criticizing him. Lawyer Christina Previte suggests that Melania Trump may have agreed to a similar "code of silence".
