According to the American Johns Hopkins University, 483.2 thousand cases of coronavirus infection have been detected in Ukraine since the beginning of the pandemic. The disease claimed 8.8 thousand lives in this country.

The Ukrainian government in October extended the restrictive measures due to COVID-19 until December 31, 2020. Vladimir Zelenskiy, in the spring, promised to pay a million dollars to the inventor of the Ukrainian vaccine against coronavirus infection.
