"What if the world is wrong?": Israeli film about covid denies the danger of the virus

The tape consists of interviews with Israeli doctors and scientists who strongly disagree that the coronavirus is as terrible as politicians claim and oppose the measures introduced to combat the pseudo-pandemic.

“We are constantly intimidated that hospitals are on the verge of collapse. It is said that the incidence of sickness between 1,600 and 1,700 people per day creates a constant burden on the health care system. The data coming to us speak of hundreds and thousands of patients on mechanical ventilation, overcrowded departments, and doctors who cannot cope with the flow of patients. We took these interviews in November (2020), on the eve of the third quarantine”, - the authors note at the beginning of the film.

Dr. Amir Shahar, head of the emergency department of Laniado hospital , in response to a question about how many patients with coronavirus were hospitalized in their institution, said this: “ They are not. Today we have seven patients, none of them on mechanical ventilation. Most can go home. There are nine patients in the Tel Hashomer Hospital".

- Has your hospital ever been on the verge of collapse?

- Never.

- Why then the third quarantine?

- I do not know. I did the best I could, reaching out to those I knew. They didn't pay attention to me. And you know the rest. ...They ask me, do you deny the coronavirus? No, I do not deny the coronavirus, I deny that it poses a threat to humanity or society.

Dr. Avi Mizrahi, Head of Internal Medicine and Coronavirus Unit at Asaf-a-Rofe Hospital:

- Hospitals will not be and have never been on the verge of collapse. There was no influx of patients. The coronavirus has filled hospitals a little more than usual.

Collapse is when a patient needs treatment and cannot receive it. And this was not even close.

Yes, this is definitely not a disease that should be treated lightly, but on the other hand, this disease is not as terrible as it is exposed.

...If the disease is not dangerous for children, then it is not so scary if they become infected. The flu is much more dangerous at this age, no doubt about it.

Among those under the age of 20, for example, there are no severe cases at all. Not reported! But at the same time, we closed schools, and it's a pity that this happened!

You could have left schools open! And to achieve significant herd immunity, thanks to children.

Yoav Yahezkeli, co-founder of the theory of combating epidemics:

- I do not deny the coronavirus, this disease exists. But it should be treated proportionately.

This disease is not a plague, not smallpox, or Ebola. Mortality from this disease, with the exception of the elderly and those with concomitant diseases, is extremely low.

Professor Udi Kimron, Head of the Department of Microbiology and Clinical Immunology, Tel Aviv University:

- The severity of this epidemic is greatly inflated. 99.8% will survive this virus even if the whole world gets sick.

Britain expected half a million dead and Sweden expected 100,000 if they did not immediately quarantine.

In fact, about 6,000 people had died in Sweden by June. There are about 40,000 in Britain. With quarantine.

...The Nobel laureate and I tried to publish an article on Ynet, but we were refused, saying that our opinions were "dangerous".

Gagging scientists at a time like this is dangerous!

We talked with the Prime Minister on the phone for an hour and a half, asked him to arrange a meeting with experts in the Cabinet of Ministers, but each time our proposal was rejected, over and over again. We are not allowed to voice our opinion in the Cabinet of Ministers.

If they heard us, they would have to admit that they were wrong from the very beginning of the crisis and they should not have resorted to such actions. They continue to make mistakes and now, it is very difficult for politicians to admit it.

Dr. Dan Yamin, Head of Epidemic Research, Tel Aviv University:

- Epidemiological models show that when schools are closed, mortality increases!

Because if a child becomes infected and recovers, the disease becomes weaker, and if it becomes a little weaker, then it will infect an adult less.

Professor Eitan Friedman, Head of the Oncology Department at Sheba Hospital:

- This is the only disease in the history and textbooks of medicine in which the number of seriously ill patients is three times higher than those of moderate severity. It doesn't work that way!

Usually there is a distribution: mild, medium and severe. How can you explain all this? Changes in the qualifying criteria.

If until June (2020) a person with a saturation below 90% was considered seriously ill, now he is someone with a saturation below 94%. Take a heavy smoker, his normal saturation is 94%!

I think this is part of a policy to keep us intimidated and submissive.

The solutions do not correspond to science, they themselves admitted it.

Who advised the prime minister? Professor Schwartz is a physicist, Professor Waxman is a mathematician and physicist. Not doctors! Not epidemiologists! Not public health doctors!

Professor Khagai Levin, epidemiologist and board member of the Corona project:

- I was against the second quarantine, and the first went wrong. I talk about it all the time. And they don't listen to me. Perhaps because of this, I am not invited to some meetings.

...One of the problems in the current situation is all sorts of pseudo-experts who captured the "scene", or someone cares about their promotion. It is completely incomprehensible what they are doing here at all ?! Like these aforementioned scientists from the field of nuclear energy.

I hope they understand more in nuclear power than in epidemiology!

It is unclear why the government is creating a group of experts, which does not include doctors.
