In 2024, a yacht residential building for the super-rich will be launched

The Norwegian shipyard Vard is completing the construction of the largest yacht in the world - Somnio, according to the Daily Mail. The length of the six-deck vessel will be 222 meters. But this is not just a superyacht, but an apartment building for the elite, which will have 39 luxury apartments worth from $ 11.2 million.

The most budgetary of the apartments will have an area of 182 sq. m. The most luxurious, which will occupy almost the entire upper deck, - 963 sq. m (of which 361 sq. m are terraces). All apartments will be designed according to an individual project, depending on the wishes of the customer, who can order options such as a gym, a library and a living room with a 270-degree view. Residents will also have access to a communal wine cellar with a capacity of 10,000 bottles and a tasting room, a variety of restaurants and bars, and an onboard beach club with water sports. An expert-level medical team will always be on board, so that the inhabitants of Somnio can forget about the pandemic, diseases and other problems of the modern world.

The identity of the owners will be a closely guarded secret. The opportunity to buy one of the apartments will be provided by invitation or recommendation only. The millionaires will be accompanied by scientists: as soon as the owners of the apartments arrive on board, the yacht will sail around the globe, carrying out environmental missions along the way.
