Since the beginning of the special operation on February 24, 1.7 million people from Ukraine have arrived in the country.

The night before, the German Ministry of Internal Affairs appealed to the Polish department, announcing the formation of a “bottleneck” and asking them to suspend the departure of trains with Ukrainian refugees.

According to Schaefernaker, this demonstrates the unpreparedness of the European Union for such a situation.

"In three days, 28 thousand people left Warsaw, Krakow and Katowice by special trains. And we have one and a half million people", - said the official.

Earlier, we note that the former Minister of Finance of the Czech Republic Miroslav Kalousek predicted economic problems for the country due to refugees from Ukraine. In his opinion, 20% of households in the republic will fall into a state of extreme poverty.

On February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the start of a military special operation of the Russian Federation to protect Donbass, the purpose of which is the denazification and demilitarization of Ukraine. Against the backdrop of clashes, many citizens decided to leave the country and rushed to the western borders. According to the European division of the World Health Organization (WHO), more than 3 million people left Ukraine after the start of the special operation. Another 6.7 million Ukrainians have moved within the country.
