Guitarist and founding member of the British band The Clash Keith Levene has died at the age of 66 at his home in Norfolk.

Keith Levene founded The Clash with Mick Johnson in 1976. Their first album, Public Image: First Issue, was released in 1978 and ranked 22nd on the music charts. A year later, the second album Metal Box was released, it is recognized as a post-punk classic.
