There are no Russians among the victims of the explosion in Istanbul

The number of victims of the explosion in the center of Istanbul has risen to 81. Two people are in serious condition. At the same time, the Consulate General of the Russian Federation, near which the explosion occurred, said that there were no victims among the Russians.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that preliminary data after the incident indicate a terrorist attack.
Earlier it became known that six people were victims of an explosion in the center of Istanbul - on Istiklal Street, not far from Taksim Square. This square is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Turkey.
Initially, 11 casualties were reported.
