To restore territorial integrity and ensure the withdrawal of the Azerbaijani military, Armenia turned to the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) in accordance with Article 4, which implies the provision of military assistance.

“Armenia turned to the CSTO under Article 4, and asked, among other things, for military assistance to restore the country’s territorial integrity,” Pashinyan said ( TASS quote ).

He noted that after applying to the CSTO, a process was launched that would eventually lead to a concrete solution. According to the head of the Armenian government, Azerbaijan's invasion of the country's territory was recorded at the CSTO meeting. “I want to say that at the CSTO meeting, our colleagues clearly stated that Azerbaijan had invaded the sovereign territory of Armenia,” the Armenian prime minister emphasized.

According to him, Armenia has also turned to Russia and other partners for military assistance.

“We turned to the Russian Federation, including for military assistance. In addition, we turned to our other partners who will discuss the invasion of the sovereign territory of Armenia at a meeting of the UN Security Council, ”Pashinyan said during a speech in parliament (quoted by TASS ).

In his speech, the Prime Minister stated that 105 Armenian servicemen were killed as a result of Azerbaijan's aggression.
