Ukrainian An-12 that crashed in Greece was transporting defense products from Serbia to Bangladesh

It's worth reminding that the plane crash happened on the night of July 17 near the city of Kavala. The Hellenic Civil Protection Service told ERT that there was ammunition on board. Rescuers evacuated residents of neighboring houses.

The air was flying wonderfully on a commercial flight from Serbia. The pilot informed the dispatcher about a malfunction in the engine and asked for an emergency landing, but the plane disappeared from the radar, 18 km short of the Kavalsky airport runway. Eyewitnesses heard explosions for two hours after the accident.
