The head of the LPR announced a general mobilization

According to the text of the decree, men aged 18 to 55 are prohibited from traveling outside the LPR.

“In a difficult, alarming situation for the Lugansk People’s Republic, I announce a general mobilization of male citizens aged 18 to 55,” the statement on the website of the head of the LPR reads.

“I call on all fellow countrymen who are in reserve and capable of holding weapons in their hands to come to the military commissariats and stand up for the Fatherland, having fulfilled their constitutional duty for our Motherland!” Pasechnik added.

In the decree , the head of the republic empowered the executive authorities to seize vehicles and property of citizens and enterprises for defense purposes.

Earlier, general mobilization was announced in the DPR .
