The publication suggested that the blow from Iran fell on two detachments of the Azerbaijani military, which are probably lost.

Iran has previously stated that it supports Armenia in this war. If the country asks for military assistance, Iran will be ready to provide it. For this, tanks and artillery installations were pulled to the border.

The war in Nagorno-Karabakh has been going on since the end of September. Azerbaijan is trying to reclaim the territory of Nagorno-Karabakh, which it considers historically its own. At the end of the 80s, the republic announced that it was leaving the Azerbaijan SSR, since that time, for almost 30 years, the status of this territory has remained uncertain.
