Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko stressed that the current contradictions do not destroy good neighborly relations with the citizens of Ukraine.

He assured that Minsk continues to support the preservation of harmony and the development of friendly and mutually respectful contacts at all levels. He wished the Ukrainians "a peaceful sky, tolerance, courage, strength and success in restoring a decent life."

Recall that Western countries blame Belarus for assisting the Russian army in a special operation in Ukraine. Numerous sanctions were announced against Belarus, including a ban on Belarusian athletes from participating in international tournaments.

Lukashenka has repeatedly explained that Belarus does not intend to attack Ukraine, and that the Belarusian military did not and will not participate in the Russian special operation.
