Aleksey Arestovich, an adviser to the head of the office of the Ukrainian president, said that Kiev, in negotiations with Russia in Belarus, demands the immediate withdrawal of all Russian troops from the territory of Ukraine, including from Crimea and Donbass.

This is reported by the Ukrainian media.

A refutation of this information has already appeared in a number of publications. Aleksei Arestovich stated that this is his personal position, which should be discussed.

It's worth reminding that the delegations from Ukraine and Russia are currently meeting in the Gomel region near the Ukrainian border. The Russian delegation is headed by presidential aide Vladimir Medinsky. The Ukrainian side is represented by Deputy Foreign Minister Mykola Tochitsky, Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov, adviser to the head of the presidential office Mikhail Podolyak, as well as head of the Servant of the People faction David Arakhamia, MP Rustem Umerov and the first deputy head of the Ukrainian delegation in the trilateral contact group Andriy Kostin.

The meeting of the delegates was supposed to take place yesterday, February 27, but the Ukrainian delegation did not arrive in Belarus until the evening. Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky noted that he was not against dialogue, but did not want to conduct it on the territory of Belarus. He suggested other venues for the meeting. However, later he nevertheless agreed to the meeting, adding that he did not believe in its result.
