Despite the fact that the virologist Dnaiel Anderson, who worked in the laboratory of the Institute of Virology in Wuhan, China, considers the origin of the coronavirus to be natural, she admits the possibility of its spread from the Wuhan laboratory.

"I'm not that naive to say that I completely write off this option from the accounts", - said the virologist in an interview with Bloomberg.

She recalled that it took ten years to determine the natural causative agent of SARS, and therefore it is not surprising that in the case of coronavirus, the source of the spread of the disease has not yet been identified. She also pointed out that the SARS-CoV-1 coronavirus, which led to the outbreak of severe acute respiratory syndrome in 2002-2004, has left protected areas several times.

Moreover, Anderson does not believe that the virus was created specifically to infect people and was released from the laboratory on purpose. According to her, it is possible that the scientist could unknowingly become infected while working to strengthen the virus, and then inadvertently infect other people. But even this probability seems insignificant to the expert.

Recall that the official Russian point of view ruled out the laboratory origin of COVID-19. Now, however, Russian scientists also admit the version according to which the virus escaped from the laboratory. Moreover, scientists have found traces of "experimentation" in the structure of the virus.

Note that there are over a hundred laboratories in China where research and other work with viruses is being carried out.

At the same time, experts from the World Health Organization have completely ruled out the version of the artificial occurrence of the coronavirus. Moreover, they do not exclude the possibility that the virus was not "born" in China at all.
