The next time the list will be considered in mid-August, TASS reports, referring to the source of the delegation of one of the EU countries in the EU Council.

- No, Russia will not be included in this list yet. Unfortunately, statistics say that it is too early, - said the source of the agency.

The list now includes 13 countries. The list will hardly be expanded this time. A reduction in the number of countries in the list is also allowed.

- Over the past two weeks, as we see, events in the world are not developing in the best way. In many countries, we see an increase in the number of infections, which, unfortunately, does not allow to quickly open borders, but, on the contrary, even forces us to take new measures, the diplomat points out.

Let us remind you that the first version of the "white list" was approved by the EU Council on June 30. The list includes 14 countries and the PRC, in relation to which the condition of reciprocity was formulated. So far, China has not confirmed the opening of borders for citizens of EU countries.

Then, in mid-July, the EU Council reduced the list to 12 countries plus China. Thus, Serbia and Montenegro were removed from the "white list". Now it includes Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, South Korea, Thailand, Algeria, Tunisia. Morocco., Rwanda, Georgia and Uruguay.

Internal borders in the EU are open from 15 June.

let us note that the World Health Organization is confident that governments will not be able to keep the borders shut even in the context of the spread of the epidemic.

- Over the past two weeks, as we see, events in the world are not developing in the best way. In many countries, we see an increase in the number of infections, which, unfortunately, does not allow to quickly open borders, but, on the contrary, even forces us to take new measures, the WHO said.

In Russia, the opening of borders is planned from August 1. While it will be possible to fly to Turkey, Tanzania and the UK. Flights will be operated from Moscow, St. Petersburg and Rostov-on-Don.
