Swedish Foreign Minister Ann Linde said gas leaks on the Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 gas pipelines were due to explosions. Europe and Russia do not rule out sabotage, but no one has yet claimed responsibility for the attack.

- Gas leaks from the Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 gas pipelines in the exclusive economic zones are the result of explosions, probably caused by sabotage, Linde said.

According to her, Stockholm continues to collect data and "does not rule out any causes, actors or motives."

The day before in Sweden, the police launched a preliminary investigation into a possible sabotage in connection with a gas leak on the Nord Stream pipeline.

The Swedish seismic center registered powerful underwater explosions. Prior to this, the Danish military sent a video from the site of leaks on gas pipelines. Before that, the Danish Armed Forces published a video from the site of leaks on the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline, filmed from the air. A restricted area has been established in the area for the safety of flights and navigation.
