Former President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych is ready to cooperate with the State Bureau of Investigation of this country within the case of changing its borders.

In April 2019, on the initiative of protecting the former President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych, the State Bureau of Investigation of Ukraine began criminal proceedings on the commission of illegal acts. President of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov, Head of the National Security and Defense Council Andrey Parubiy, Minister of Defense Igor Tenyukh, Head of the Security Service of Ukraine Valentin Nalyvaichenko and other persons involved in actions aimed at changing the borders of Ukraine and high treason. Viktor Yanukovych is ready to cooperate with the GDB to establish the truth about the events of 2014. The corresponding statement of the fourth President will be submitted to the GDB.

“The official testimony of Vladimir Zamana and other witnesses established that the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 02/27/2014 were in good combat readiness, and the reason for the loss of the territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea by Ukraine was the refusal of the then top military leadership of the state to protect the territorial integrity of Ukraine by military means and an indication Western curators to those who came to power during the coup "do not make sudden movements in the Crimea."

Crimea was not saved due to the NSDC's refusal to impose martial law. All this is confirmed by the transcript of the meeting of the National Security and Defense Council on February 28, 2014, as well as by numerous public statements and official testimonies of Vladimir Zamana and several other military and political leaders, ”said lawyer Vitaliy Serdyuk.

As a revenge for such public statements and attempts to "shut up his mouth," the State Security Committee, under pressure from the previous government, opened a case against allegedly "collapse of the Armed Forces of Ukraine" against Vladimir Zamana.

“Today we will submit to the GDB a statement previously signed by Viktor Yanukovych, addressed to all judicial and law enforcement bodies of Ukraine, that he will take all measures to cooperate with them in order to establish the truth about the events of 2014, in particular, about executions on the Maidan and surrender of the Crimea.

Of course, this should happen within the framework of the law and in compliance with international legal agreements on legal assistance. The case of Vladimir Zamana will not be an exception. The Ukrainian people should find out the whole truth about what happened, and those responsible should be punished, ”added Serdyuk.
