The disjointed body of 30-year-old Ukrainian rapper Andy Cartwright (Alexander Yushko) was found in an apartment in St. Petersburg. The performer allegedly died of an overdose, his wife tried to hide the body.

His lawyer filed a complaint with the police. He learned about the death of the artist from the wife of the rapper Marina Kohal. “She said her husband died of a drug overdose. The woman disjointed the body and tried to hide it”, - writes Interfax, citing its own source.

The body parts of the deceased were found in the apartment, laid out in five bags. The woman was detained. Now the issue of initiating a criminal case is being decided. While all the circumstances of the incident are being established, the objects with the help of which the dismemberment was made are seized as evidence.

Ukrainian rapper Andy Cartwright became famous after his participation in the Russian Versus Battle. He recorded his first album in 2012. At recent period he lived with his family in St. Petersburg.

In St. Petersburg, this is not the first high-profile case with the dismemberment of a corpse. In November last year, 63-year-old Oleg Sokolov, a former assistant professor at St. Petersburg State University, brutally killed and dismembered his graduate student Anastasia Yeshchenko. The scientist was caught trying to get rid of body parts. Now the criminal case against Sokolov is being considered in court.
