The authorities are discussing the possibility of setting the maximum remuneration to top managers of state-owned companies and state corporations at the level of the prime minister’s three minimum earnings - not more than 30 million rubles. in year. By individual decision of the president, the amount may be increased.

According to the source of Kommersant, the initiative has been discussed in the government since March. Another source claims that this is a special working group led by the head of the government apparatus, Dmitry Grigorenko.

The interlocutors of the publication indicate that the authorities are going to optimize the level of salaries of top managers of state-owned companies by linking them to a short list of performance indicators - KPI.

Note that the Russian Federation controls or owns large shares in more than 40 companies, 34 of which are strategic. As a rule, the annual salaries of top managers of such companies are significantly higher than 30 million rubles. For example, at Gazprom, payments to the board took one and a half billion rubles in 2019, at Transneft, 2.34 billion rubles were spent on the board and board of directors, and 2.138 billion rubles at Aeroflot. We also note that the head of the Roskosmos state corporation, Dmitry Rogozin, has a higher salary than the head of NASA, James Brydenstein.

Note that ordinary citizens complaining about salaries is becoming dangerous. For example, a medical registrar in Kirov, who received 12 thousand rubles a month, was fired after she posted an April payment on her social network page. The leadership of the medical institution called the reason for dismissal "undermining the reputation of a legal entity".
