The famous Russian political scientist Alexander Nekrasov died in London in the 64th year. The cause of his death was a stroke. According to his son, Alexander Nekrasov, Jr., his father became ill after participating in the broadcast of the program "Evening with Vladimir Solovyov" on April 7.

The son of a political scientist told the agency TASS .

According to him, after the father was taken to the hospital, "there was a sharp deterioration, bleeding in the brain occurred, he was connected to a ventilator, but his condition continued to worsen, and he died on the evening of April 9."

Solovyov’s television program featuring Alexander Nekrasov was dedicated to the spread of coronavirus in the UK. The political scientist talked about how this topic is covered by the British media, as well as about the state of health and treatment of the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Boris Johnson.

Nekrasov said that he himself once lay in the intensive care unit in a British private clinic and knows from his own sad experience what it is.

Alexander Nekrasov was the great-grandson of Leo Tolstoy and the poet Nikolai Nekrasov. In the 1960s, he moved to the UK with his mother and stepfather. In 1979 he returned to Russia to become a student at MGIMO, where he studied politics, international law and economics.

After graduation, Nekrasov became an employee of TASS, also worked as a correspondent for the agency’s London office.

Living in London, Alexander Nekrasov constantly appeared on British television and radio as an international observer, often took part in the programs of Vladimir Solovyov, worked as a specialist in strategic communications, and wrote books.
