Two-time Olympic boxing champion Boris Lagutin dies
Boris Lagutin, two-time Olympic champion and six-time USSR boxing champion, died at the age of 85. He passed away on September 4th.

- The Russian Boxing Federation expresses its sincere condolences to the family, friends and admirers of Boris Nikolaevich's talent, the Federation said in a statement.

Lagutin won the 1964 Olympics in Tokyo and 1968 in Mexico City. In addition, he is a six-time champion of the Soviet Union and two-time European champion. He completed the first Olympic Games in his career - in 1960 in Rome - on the third step of the podium.
