Seven people died in the crash of a reconnaissance aircraft in Turkey

As a result of the crash of a military plane in eastern Turkey seven security officials died, said the Interior minister Suleyman Soylu.

According to the head of the department, the aircraft carried out an intelligence and surveillance mission in the provinces of Van and Hakkari.

- We lost seven heroes, two of them were the pilots, - agency Anadolu cites Soylu words.

The plane departing from Ferit Melen Airport at 18:35, disappeared from the radar at 22:45. It fell in the province of Van near Mount Arthos. Currently, the wreckage debris is being sorted out there.
