The Bureau of Industry and Security at the US Department of Commerce has published a list of 103 companies and agencies from Russia and China that cooperate with the armed forces of their states. This means that listed entities will not be able to purchase certain goods and technologies from the United States.

In a message published on the website of the American department, it is said that this list can be expanded by the decision of the interdepartmental committee on end-user verification.

The Committee, recall, includes the Ministry of Trade, the Pentagon, the State Department and the US Department of Energy. However, it is possible that some companies will be removed from the list.

Thus, the current edition of the list includes 45 Russian organizations. Among them are the Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR), the Ministry of Defense of Russia, the Special Flight Detachment "Russia", which are part of "Rosatom" Scientific Research Technological Institute named after A.P. Aleksandrov and the NL Dukhov All-Russian Research Institute of Automation, Institute of Catalysis named after N.L. G. K. Boreskova (Russian Academy of Sciences), part of Roscosmos Central Scientific Research Institute of Mechanical Engineering and Rocket and Space Center Progress, Irkut Corporation (owned by UAC), Sukhoi Civil Aircraft, Russian Helicopters holdin"; a part of "Rostech" corporation "VSMPO-Avisma" and others.

Moreover, the enterprises included in Rosatom and Roskosmos were for the first time on the American sanctions list since 2014.

Earlier it became known that the military-industrial complex of Russia is losing its position in the market due to US sanctions. At the end of 2019, only two Russian companies were among the 25 leaders in this area, and they accounted for only 3.9% of all global sales. Moreover, the export of domestic weapons has stopped growing since the first year of sanctions - since 2014, and remains in the range of 13-15 billion dollars.
